Birth Registration by transcription of minors

O Registo de Nascimento por transcrição para filhos de progenitor(es) angolano(s) nascidos em Portugal, com idade compreendida entre os zero e os dezassete anos, é um procedimento feito com base no Assento de Nascimento emitido pelas autoridades locais portuguesas.

Who can apply?

You can request Birth Registration by transcription for a child aged between zero and seventeen years old, child(ren) of citizen(s) with Angolan nationality:

• Any of the parents, if they are married to each other, being mandatory the presence of one of them at the moment of the request for birth registration by transcription;

• By both parents, if they are not married to each other; the presence of both parents is mandatory at the time of the request for birth registration by transcription.

The amount can be paid by:

• Multibanco available at the Consulate.

• Payments are non-refundable.
  Make sure you pay with the correct amount.
• The payment receipt must be attached to the application.
  After payment keep the copy of the receipt.
