Registo de Óbito por Transcrição

O Registo de Óbito por transcrição é um procedimento que atesta oficialmente o falecimento do cidadão e é feito com base no Assento de óbito emitido pelas autoridades locais.

Who can apply?

O pedido do Registo de Óbito por Transcrição pode ser solicitado por qualquer cidadão. Contudo, por norma é solicitado por um familiar do falecido.

How much does it cost?

The amount can be paid by:

• Multibanco available at the Consulate.
  Bank cards accepted:
  • Visa Debit;
  • Visa Electron;
  • Mastercard;
  • Maestro;
  • Discover.

• Deposit or bank transfer using the following data:
  Bank: NOVO BANCO
  Bank Account: 5760 0268 0000
  IBAN:
  Ref: (Name and consular act required - Ex: Visa, Consular Registration, Passport, Safe-conduct, Authentication, etc).

• Payments are non-refundable.
  Make sure you pay with the correct amount.


• The payment receipt must be attached to the application.
  After payment keep the copy of the receipt.
